Camille Pin

Well, i like her a lot. Camille Pin, she my number 1 - oh, No! Tathiana is my number 1, mi numero uno and Camille... well, she's also my fav tennis player.

I saw Camille in AO this year, where she had lost to 'pova. Even if she lost, she did it with class. She fought bravely until the end. She has the exceptional bad draw facing 'pova, current n2, in her very first round. But Camille doesn't give up - no, she choose to fight, and it was great match!

I watched it recorded, 'cause i didn't expect anything from "n2 vs n95 or about" match. I was wrong. Camille gave 'pova an exceptional beating

Camille did everything in that match, she had 'pova when and where she wanted, she even had matchpoints! Unfortunately, she lost the match but what a pitiful look was on 'pova! Camille did something that no one had done before - she shut 'pova up! Many have tried this, but only Camille was able to silence her effectively. Later in her interview 'pova had thanked God for letting her progress to next round


So from that very match i knew, that Camille Pin had earned a place in my heart. Than i tried to find more information about her - well, i find bio and player profile and photos on her official site but that didn't satisfy me. I want company, fellow fans to share thoughts with.
Well, there is my problem - i don't speak French! I can understand something but it' far from actual fluent speech And forum on Camille's official site is french only...

I like Camille very much too. She is nice, she uses the maximum of her possibilities and she is a great fighter. I wish she would have beaten Sharapova in january! Since this tournament, I don't know what she has done... I she injured?

No, she's fine... in terms of injuries but AFAIK she had fever which made her pull out of some tournaments. Her most recent tournament was Estoril where Camille lost her first match. Now she might take part in ECM Prague Open but it isn't confirmed yet. Hope Camille will be OK and healthy and will show us some great matches!

Camille will play her first RG match tomorrow. She will play against Vera Dushevina, a russian. Although i'm russian too i will support Camille because she's... just because she's Camille Pin and that's enough for me. Sorry, Vera.

I'm just killed But Camille fought well. She was down 1 - 4 in first set but came back to 4 - 4. She struggled point to point in second set but Vera was able to win two important break-points in both sets and the match was her...

I feel so sorry for Camille, she deserves more than one round at her home Grand Slam!

Vera is good player and i have nothing against her personally. If not her it could be someone else. What i really want is Camille's victory over that annoying 'pova!

But today Vera tore my heart apart by defeating Camille... Couldn't she be nice and lose?

They won the first set 7-6 but lost the second 1 - 6 and finally lost super tie-break 5 - 10.

Now Camille only plays doubles (with Stephanie Foretz).
